Condition

The canvas is not lined. There is a 1 cm. repaired tear towards the centre of the right edge with associated retouching. There are intermittent small brushstrokes of retouching to the extreme edges. All retouching is visible under UV light. Apart from some very light craquelure mainly visible to the lighter pigments, this work is in good condition. Colours: The reds are more subtle and the body tone is warmer and less green. Overall there is more variation to the palette in the original.
