Condition
The canvas is lined. There is a thick layer of varnish through which the UV light cannot fully penetrate although there appears to be a small area of retouching towards the right of the upper edge and a further L-shaped area of retouching in the upper right quadrant. Apart from four minor scratches situated close to the centre of the lower edge (visible in the catalogue illustration), this work appears to be in good condition.
