the tapering, flattened bowenite blade mounted with two-color gold band enameled translucent blue over an engine turned ground and set with three seed pearls and with green gold anthemia, the top set with a finely chased laurel wreath in green gold tied with red gold ribbons, the back with a thin blade for marking book pages
