of rounded, rectangular shape, a shaped panel on the cover enameled en plein with the figure of a standing young peasant girl, the back with a similar shaped panel painted en plein with a seated peasant youth holding flutes, both panels surrounded by scrolling floral and foliate ornament against a stippled ground, the match safe with conforming decoration, the tinder cord with an enamel icon pendant of the Appearance of the Mother of God to St. Sergius of Radonezh
