the body lobed, with panels outlined with applied gilded cables and depicting brightly colored scenes of swimming swans and bird-shaped boats as well as geometric and floral ornament, the borders with floral and foliate ornament against a green ground and studded with colored hardstones set en cabochon, the prow depicting a peacock with lowered head, the raised, shaped handle with multicolored geometric and cabochon hardstones, the ring foot with conforming decoration against a peach ground
