Censer : tiny chip to the rim of the censer ; the right handle with a russet inclusion ; the left handle has been rubbed off on both sides ; Censer cover / pagoda : the base has been detached and re-stuck (old glue remains) as well as the roof has been re-stuck with the "pagoda" ; Vases : three chips and associated cracks starting from the rim and joining each other as a V-shape inside the vase (6;4;2cm) to one vase ; the V-shape part could have been already re-stuck (visible on the catalogue detailed illustration) ; Other vase : good overall condition ; Candlesticks : left one : 2 tiny holes to the jade to the middle drip-pan ; right one : good overall condition ; some of the carved wood bases have been broken and re-stuck ; the actual color is convenient with the catalogue illustration.

E' estremamente raro trovare un set completo composto da cinque pezzi.
Questo set è finemente scolpito nella stessa pietra verde caratterizzata da inclusioni naturali in rosso chiaro.
Un altro set, comprendente un incensiere tripode centrale in stile arcaico, due vasi "gu" e due candelieri, ma scolpiti in giada verde spinacio e del XVIII secolo, è stato venduto da Sotheby's a New York il 22 marzo 2000, lotto 26.

It is very rare to find a large complete five-piece jadeite garniture. The present example is very finely carved from the same green stone with light natural russet inclusions.

Another altar garniture but made of spinach green jade comprising a central archaistic tripod censer, two "gu" vases and two candlesticks from the 18^th century was sold in our New York rooms, 22 March 2000, lot 26.
