the base band mounted with cartouches enclosing faceted citrines and amethysts, within applied beaded borders, the ribs with similar cartouches enclosing chrysophases and carnelians above acanthus foliage, partly-matted ball finial surmounted by a lion holding the Tablets of the Law

repairs to band of acanthus and prickets, one cartouche possibly replaced, one rib stone roughly reset, otherwise good, impressive size and nice quality
