The double-strands composed of ruby beads measuring approximately 24.0 to 9.4 mm., the clasp set with emerald-cut rubies, and round diamonds weighing approximately 2.40 carats, length 17 inches.
Condition
Good condition and bearing a significant heft (gross weight approximately 272 dwts/2115 carats). The 88 deep purplish red ruby beads are heavily included with numerous surface-reaching feathers and small cavities. The 4 faceted rubies in the clasp are medium-deep slightly purplish red emerald-cut rubies are lightly to moderately included. The 16 diamonds are approximately H-I color, VS clarity.
