Set in the center with a carved mother-of-pearl tablet depicting the Virgin Mary, framed by seed pearls, within a border of calibré-cut sapphires and emeralds, the reverse with a platinum medallion with the letter M atop a radiant cloud wreathed with roses, mounted in platinum, signed F. Vernon, numbered 2546.
Condition
The Mother-of-pearl carving is nicely done and remains crisp. The emeralds and sapphires are medium bright shades of green and blue respectively. Pearls are a creamy silver hue with good luster. Reverse of pendant is of solid metal and is carved with a scene depicting sun rays, clouds, scrolling vines topped with the initial M. In good condition.
