  • first cup marked on body and engraved on underside MAPPIN & WEBB LONDON & SHEFFIELD, the second marked on body, cover and finial, base rim stamped HARMAN 177 NEW BOND ST LONDON

  • heights 15 3/4 in.
the first of vase form, the lower body and foot engraved with acanthus leaves, the second of campana form, with ovolo borders, the body applied with a band of grapevine, the reeded leaf-capped handles springing from satyr heads, stepped domed cover with bud finial

Condition

the first with inscription removed, repair to one upper handle wear through, the other handle pushed in and 1/2 in. split to body right of handle, second good condition, heavy, crisp
