This print is in good condition. It is dry mounted onto a piece of cardboard and was recently cleaned by a paper restorer.

Downman, a topographical artist stationed in Toronto, was a lieutenant in the 83rd regiment of the British Army. The oil painting of this scene is included in the Sigmund Samuel Collection at the Royal Ontario Museum, Toronto.
