  • silver

  • 21cm
shaped circular, the undulating border chased with scrolling vines terminating in flower buds and flowers inf ull bloom, the center engraved with monogram HER, raised on lobed pedestal base chased with conforming flowers

Condition

some small scratches to surface and a little wear to hgh spots of border, otherwise good condition

Catalogue Note

According to Gorham's archives, Compote PUX was completed on 24 April 1919.  The compote was raised by silversmtih Henry H. Baker in 45 hours.  The chasing required an additional 53 15/60 hours, although the name of the specific chaser was not recorded.  The net factory price of Compote PUX upon completion was $203, however the price was increased to $210 the following month.
