each tapered cylindrical, the body chased with strapwork panels enclosing flowers, fruit and lion masks, also chased with portraits of a gentleman in 17th century dress and a woman in 16th century dress, flanking an oval cartouche engraved with arms, the domed covers chased to match and with lion head thumbpieces
