the long and narrow face with a small nose over an openwork beak, the eyes inset with shell, the surface decorated with red and white pigment.

Condition

Very good condition for an object of this type and age; wear and tear throughout with minor losses to proper right side rim and openwork element on forehead; two holes on reverse for mounting; fine aged patina with traces of red pigment and lime.
