Description

  • 20cm, 7 7/8 in high
embossed and chased with scrolling roses, poppies and a shield shaped cartouche on a matted ground, baluster stem

Condition

Fully marked at rim, the leopard's head is partially badly struck but otherwise the marks are good; some wear to gilding at highlights of the stem; gilding probably later; the engraved, stippled and chased decoration is all in good order; a rare example.
