Condition
Updated condition report. Their heads, now fixed with a gilt-metal collar, were possibly originally intended to nod. When sold in 1986 they were each fitted with one elaborate gilt copper pendant earring, now missing. One has restoration to the front of the base, some restoration and overpainting to the right arm and sleeve and one earlobe restored. The other has minor restoration around the base and some restoration to the head on her right side.
