each tureen naturalistically modelleded as a crouching bird with wings slightly spread, the shaped oval stands each painted with scattered flower sprays within a border of molded and painted feathers.

Condition

Stands: one has several 1/8-in. or less chips to the rim; the other has two 1/4-in. chips to the rim. Tureens: one bird's foot is reglued and has a 1/4-in. flat chip; the other has a a foot that has been off and restored back. Covers: One has restoration to the back end near the tail, including the peg that holds it in place. The other has restoration and overspray to the back, tail and wings. It is not possible to determine the full extent of the original damage beneath ther restoration.
