  • 30.5 cm
of oval form, the sides molded with basketwork, glazed in cobalt and set with twig handles terminating in berried holly branches, raised in conforming branch feet, the cover with a fox crouching over a white goose on a bed of fern leaves, decorator's mark of four dots, the cover with similar mark and the numeral 2.

Condition

The fox's right ear restored and there is also a tiny chip to the tip of his snout. There is a very minor pinhead chip to the underside rim of the cover at one end. The tureen with the corner of one foot restored. Generally good condition.
