Condition

Overall fair condition; the frames with extensive losses to the black lacquer mainly to the fronts now with black inpainting; the first with some small losses to painted paper mainly to red vertical support to top right quadrant and some losses to painted paper of mountains in background; losses to silk robe of one male figure in foreground one figure with loss to ivory face and now with painted paper face; the other with losses to red paper of vertical support to top left quadrant; small losses to extremities throughout and with some lifting to edges of paper. Backs of frames each with two later wood battens to hold back board in place.
