the serpentine cross-banded solid mahogany top above a conforming fluted frieze raised on fluted circular tapering legs headed by waisted collars and ending in toupee feet.
Condition
The tops of the back legs canted and back corners of the top with replacements - the table possibly originally fitted into a niche; top possibly re-set; overall good restored condition; top with a glossy finish; the crossbanding with numerous patches, particularly to the front corners and to the back edge with some areas of inpainting and sun fading; the central top with six infilled bruises and with usual scratches and marks; slight warpage to top; front left leg with two repaired breaks to fluting, one approximately 1 inch, the other approximately 4 inches; nicks, bruises, and wear to fluting of legs; overall with old marks, scratches, scuffs and bruises consistent with age and use.
