Description

the deep rounded sides rising from a short straight foot to an everted rim, the exterior incised and green-glazed with two scaly five-clawed dragons in pursuit of a 'flaming pearl', all within 'fire and cloud' scrolls and reserved on a rich egg-yolk yellow ground, the interior and base white, the base with an underglaze blue six-character seal mark 

Condition

There is a triangular chip of area 1.5x 1.2 x 0.5cm to the mouth rim restored with associate overpaint area of 2x0.3cm on the interior and 3.5x1cm (crescent shape) on the exterior. There are also some minute speckles and pinholes on the mouth rim. Otherwise the bowl is in good condition.
