Description
the finely potted deep rounded sides rising from a short foot to an everted rim, delicately reverse-decorated in a rich iron-red with lotus and foliate scrolls, the interior and base glazed white with an underglaze blue six-character seal mark
Condition
There is a round chip of approximately 0.2cm diameter to the exterior of the mouth rim, now filled and touched up. An area of 2cm long by 0.7cm under the chip is overpainted, possibly a result of old style of restoration technique of cover up. Otherwise the bowl is in good condition
