the slightly swelling cylindrical body rising from a recessed base to a short waisted neck with everted flaring rim, painted around the exterior in rich cobalt-blue tones with a rocky landscape enclosing a pair of deer beneath pine with cranes in flight overhead

Condition

The vase is in good overall condition with the exception of a light polish to aproximately 8cm., of the rim, rim fritting, minor nibbles and chips to the oputer edge of the foot, a slightly un-evenly shaped footring, minor glaze firing imperfections including burst glaze bubbles, iron-spots and glaze scratches.
