Description

  • Porcelain blanc-de-chine
the figure standing with the hands crossed, wearing flowing robes and a high cowl, on a shaped oval stepped base of breaking waves

Condition

There is restoration to both hands and forearms and to the area of the cloak above the right forearm. There is a small firing crack to the lower edge of the outer robes to the reverse and a small chip (2mm x 2mm) to the left of this. There is a (2mm by 2mm) iron spot to the back and other small iron spots throughout the figure. There is a hairline crack to the right side and an 8cm crack running vertically from this. There is also numerous firing cracks running through the foot.
