the broad-shouldered tapering baluster body rising from a recessed base to a short narrow tapering neck with everted rolled rim, painted in rich heaped and piled cobalt-blue tones with a broad leafy lotus scroll band between lotus lappets at the base and tumultuous foaming waves at the shoulder
Condition
With the exception of a hairline crack to the mouth (approx.2cm); two small circular chips to the glaze at the foot; a tiny burst glaze bubble to the belly, another to the shoulder and a third to the mouth rim; two short firing cracks (approx 1cm and 0.4cm) to the body; an approx. 5cm firing crack to the base and pinhead size ironspots and light scratches to the glaze overall, this piece is in good condition.
