Description

  • Ceramic
painted to the interior with a crouching white hare on a fukizumi 'blown blue' ground, below a rectangular panel enclosing the characters Yu tu (jade hare), encircled by florets and a single line at the rim

Condition

This dish is in reasonably good overall condition, but does have a 4 x 4.5cm., V-shaped area of restoration to the rim, numerous areas of fritting to the rim, some pin-hole sized burst bubbles and iron spots to the interior and numerous burst bubbles to the exterior base.
