the flattened baluster body supported on a rockwork base carved in high relief issuing leafy flowering iris and old gnarled braches of prunus and magnolia, upon each perches a small bird, the domed cover surmounted by a small bird perched on a prunus sprig, the stone of pale celadon tone, carved wood stand

Condition

This jade vase is in reasonable condition, but there is a small (1mm x 2mm) chip to the rim. There is an oval-shaped flaw to the stone to the left side of the vase that runs in an arc around 17cm. There is a small (2mm) crack/bruise to the end of the branch running from the rim and two chips to the other end of the branch by the rim.
