Description

each painted with shaped panels of stylized chrysanthemum above lotus sprays, the shoulder with a thin band of lotus panels on a diaper ground below ascending and descending bands of leaves to the neck

Condition

Both vases are in god overall condition with the exception of overpaintig to a circa 2cm., section of each rim probably covering a small chip, light rubbing to the gilding and iron-red decoration, minor firing lines on the interior of each footring and light glaze scratches.
