Description

  • Ceramic and metal
each of hexagonal section, the recessed sides painted with figural mountain landscape scenes framed by gilt dragon-scroll borders and contained within raised bamboo borders, the shoulder and cover decorated in underglaze-blue with flowers and foliage, surmounted by seated lion-dog knops, the mounts later added

Condition

One vase has been broken and restored. The lion finial on one vase has been broken off and restuck and large piece of the lid rim broken off and reglued.
