Description
- CERAMIC
the slender body rising from a spreading foot to a rounded shoulder and a short narrow tapering neck, freely painted in 'windswept' style around the exterior with an Immortal in a landscape beneath a band of scrolling foliage and above a band of ascending leaves
Condition
This vase is generally in good condition. However the foot has been drilled and there is a 2cm crack to the interior of the rim, but does not extend through to the exterior. The rolled mouth is slightly undulated and as with other areas of the body there are some burst pin hole bubbles and iron spots to the glaze. There is also some areas of inconsistencies where the glaze has crawled away from the body, below the rim and at the foot.
