- lacquer, wood and mother of pearl
of rectangular form, the upper surface decorated with a quatrefoil panel enclosing the Eight Immortals standing with a deer on a promontory beside a peach and pine tree looking at Shoulao riding on the back of a crane over a turbulent sea, on a diaper ground, the pierced sides above an everted barbed apron decorated with flower scrolls, on four cabriole legs on a rectangular stretcher base

Condition
This table is in very good condition with the exception of wear and small flakes of the enamel to the corners of the bracket base; possible re-adhering of the bracket foot, minor losses of shell inlay, an approx. 10cm crack to the lacquer to the underside of the table top, and overall cracking and very light scratches to the black lacquer. The black lacquer of the cabriole legs appear to have been retouched.
