Description

  • Silk
the rectangular panel brightly polychrome embroidered with a large stylised dragon medallion below an 'endless' knot, all above foaming waves, stylised lotus and a large kylin and reserved on a ruyi-head cloud scroll ground

Condition

The panel is in good overall condition with the exception of partial deterioration to the black thread areas and a line of repair running more or less horizontally across the upper half cutting through the top of the dragon roundel.
