Description

  • `Escargot': a vase
  • underside with engraved mark `R. Lalique'

  • glass
  • 21.2cm.;

red glass, with frosted surface

Condition

An attractive red vase of good overall condition. There are many air bubbles within the glass and a couple have burst to the surface overall. The flat rim is not of even width and the edges suggest that chips may have been removed through polishing. The piece is slightly more intense red than the catalogue illustration suggests. Ready for display.
