Condition
An attractive and good quality piece with use of well figured veneers. Top and undertier with attractive sectional veneering. Top slightly faded. Old marks and scratches consistent with age. Formerly with mounts to the top of the legs. A practical piece, ready for use and display.

Another example of the current lot forms part of the furnishings of one of Gio Ponti's first commissions, the villa 'L'Ange Volant', which he designed for Tony Bouilhet in Garches, France in 1926.
