A striking model of good overall appearance. Ivory slightly more yellow than the illustration suggests. The ivory with two cracks through her torso from the right shoulder across to the left groin as visible in the illustration, and from her left underarm to middle back at the waist. Another crack across her head, running down her neck to the right and face to the left. Some cracks to the circular ivory base, nothing serious. Onyx base in good condition. A finely carved example. Prospective purchasers are reminded that this lot contains ivory which may be subject to export and import restrictions. For example, it is illegal to import elephant ivory under 100 years old into the United States.
