A striking model of good overall appearance. Ivory slightly more yellow than illustration suggests. Figure's right hand has been re-stuck and glue deposits remain. The face with one very short natural crack above the top lip and a small area of yellowing to the neck. Finish to bronze worn, particularly to silvering of legs, top of left arm, and high points of blue on costume, as seen in the illustration. One scratch across left thigh at top. Marble base with minor restoration to the natural fissures. Of good size. Prospective purchasers are reminded that this lot contains ivory which may be subject to export and import restrictions.
