gilt bronze, the centrepiece with mermaids emerging from the sea holding aloft three oyster shells, surmounted by a female nude, the side pieces modelled with a mermaid holding a conch shell

Condition
An impressive garniture of excellent quality. Typical minor scratches consistent with age, some rubbing and spotting to gilding and minor areas of verdigris. This rare model is of imposing appearance and has the pleasing original gilding. Ready for display.
