The colours are fairly accurate in the catalogue illustration, althought they are lighter and more vibrant in the original. The work is in very good original condition. The original canvas is laid down on canvas, which is also laid down on canvas. Two tiny paint losses (approx. 2 mm and 4mm) are visible upon very close inspection in the lower left quadrant of the work. No trace of retouching fluoresces under UV light.
