Inscription on reverse reads: John Beader Feb. 1981 Bell's Pond Diner Hinsdale, NY ? Nashville 1981. Image size: 15 by 23 in.; 38.1 by 58.4 cm. In very good condition. Colors vibrant. Sheet has deckled edges on all sides. Attached to mat window at three areas along top edge on the reverse. Pin hole at each corner (covered by mat).

Catalogue Note

John Baeder also painted this diner in oil on canvas in 1990.  The diner originated in Humphreysville, New York; it was moved to Rumney, New Hampshire and reopened under a different name in 1992.
