Condition
This work is in excellent condition. There are faint shoe prints from the studio scattered across the canvas as is typical of the artist's working practice. These are primarily visible along the bottom edge, in the lower right quadrant, in the golden brown on the right edge and on the upper left edge located 16-23 in. down from the top. There are remnants of paper fibers that have adhered to the impasto that flattened when the pigment was still soft – possibly from previous storage - and primarily in the green and white diagonal located 9-16 in. from the right and 26 – 32 in. from the top. Under Ultraviolet light there are no apparent restorations. This work is unframed.
