Condition
This work is in very good condition overall. There is a small puncture located 2 1/4 - 2 1/2 in. up from the bottom edge and 12 7/8 - 13 in. in from the right edge. Where the impasto is at its thickest, there is scattered but stable cracking primarily located in the upper right quadrant and in the center of the painting. There are a few acqueous drips, possibly from the time of execution located 2 7/8 - 4 3/4 in. down from the top edge and 14 - 14 3/4 in. from the left edge. There are scattered handling marks on all four edges , possibly dating from the time of execution. There is a very light diagonal surface scratch located 4 1/2 - 5 in. up from the bottom edge and 6 1/4 - 6 5/8 in. from the right edge, as well as a small area of skinned paper located 4 - 4 3/8 in. up from the bottom edge and 1/8 - 5/8 in from the right edge. There are remnants of archival tape at the bottom left corner with some associated skinning to paper. This painting is framed in a silver faced walnut strip frame behind plexiglas.
