Condition

This work is in excellent condition. The paint layer and butterfly wings appear intact and secure. There are scattered tiny drips of the black gloss paint on a few wings from the time of execution. The canvas is framed in an artist-approved lancet arch-shaped black painted wood frame under Plexiglas. Due to the framing, it is not possible to inspect the work under ultraviolet light.
