Condition
Colour: The colours in the catalogue illustration are fairly accurate although the overall tonality is slightly warmer in the original. The illustration fails to convey the three-dimensional sculptural nature of the work.
Condition: This work is in very good condition. There are faint handling marks at intervals to the edges with associated, very minor and intermittent areas of wear to the canvas edges. Close inspection reveals very minor paint losses to several of the nails and a few minute spots of media accretion throughout. Examination under ultraviolet light reveals some fluorescences throughout, which appears to be inherent to the artist's working process.
