Condition
This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of wear and handling with an area of discoloration at the upper left edge. There are unobtrusive tears along the pull margins and a 1 inch tear located 3 inches from the bottom edge and 36 1/2 inches from the left edge. There are scattered fine and unobtrusive accretions throughout the surface of the canvas primarily visible under raking light. There is scattered evidence of craquelure. All surface inconsistencies in the painted surface appear inherent to the artist working method and medium. Under ultraviolet light inspection, there is no evidence of restoration. However, areas of the canvas fluoresce and appear inherent to the artist's treatment of the canvas. The canvas has been strip lined. Unframed.
