Condition

This work is in good condition overall. There is evidence of craquelure throughout the surface of the canvas, the largest area of which is a 5 inch area of concentric craquelure located 6 inches from the top edge and 15 inches from the right edge. The reverse of the canvas has been wax lined. As such, evidence of craquelure appears stable. Under ultra violet light inspection, there is no evidence of inpainting. Framed.
