Catalogue Note

Kroes, 2007, p. 316, cat. no. 233 illustrates a plate from this service. As noted by the author, this service, made for Theodorus and Adriaan van Reverhorst, may have been especially expensive due to the unique shapes included. The arms of Theodorus and Adriaan van Reverhorst are depicted in the middle with the arms of their eight great grandparents on the side.
