Condition

Good condition. The bold carving is particularly attractive and well executed. Most of the brackets are complete but there are many sections of the upper moulding which are detached and some missing sections. There are some losses to the carved acanthus leaves, with most brackets having significant chips in places. Further general wear, age cracks, stains and minor chips throughout.
