Condition

Pile generally low to knotheads overall with some 1/10 inch matted pile in borders; scattered reweaves (largest approximately 7 x 8 inch stepped reweave in upper medallion); scattered repiling throughout field; browns oxidized to knotheads and spot foundation. Missing end guard stripes, approximately 2 x 1 inch reweave in upper end guard border. Sides partially reselvaged with some original 8 cord wrapped in red wool, some of selvages coming detached from rug. Attractive ivory border; sound fabric and condition.
