Condition

Pile ranges from good 1/6 inch with areas of foldwear in right border, oxidation and scattered moth damage low to knotheads and spot foundation. Light and dark browns oxidized to knotheads. Original sides and upper end; sides with 2 cord madder red wool selvages with minor areas later overcast. Upper end with macrame fringes and lower end missing outer guard stripe, now secured with blanket stitch. Some hot, chemically-dyed, reds. Flexible handle, robust weave, good overall condition.
