Condition

5'6" x 3'4": pile ranges from 1/8 inch in few areas to 1/10 inch to areas of foldwear and oxidation low to knotheads and spot foundation; small restitched hole in lower left corner of field. Sides with original 2 cord wool selvages. Ends with minor losses (not more than 1 row of knots), now secured with binding stitch. Flexible handle, sound fabric and condition. 5'7" x 3'9": pile ranges from 1/8 inch to low to knotheads in areas of foldwear and oxidized browns, some with repiling; further scattered repiling---not extensive. Sides with original 2 cord wool selvages. Ends secured with blanket stitch; burlap band sewn to all four sides on reverse. Supple handle, sound fabric and condition.
